Grammy-nominated multi-platinum trio Migos have announced January 26th as the release date for their forthcoming album CULTURE II. This upcoming LP serves as the feverishly anticipated follow up to last year’s platinum album CULTURE which received critical acclaim from the likes of Rolling Stone, GQ, The New Yorker, Pitchfork, NPR, The Atlantic, COMPLEX, Variety among others.
Album’s already anticipated success was led by its first single, “Motor Sports,” which features New York femcees, Nicki Minaj and Cardi B. “Motor Sports” has earned Migos an RIAA Certified Gold status in just one month and has garnered over 223 million streams to date with the video racking up over 113 million views.
They are currently cooking with their second single, “Stir Fry,” making major headway on radio and in the clubs. Produced by Pharrell Williams, the track has been picked as the official track for this year’s NBA All-StarStar weekend.
Migos are nominated for Best Rap Album and Best Rap Performance at the upcoming 2018 Grammy Awards.
Earlier today in celebration of the great Martin Luther King Jr., Migos dropped a teaser to their national anthem-inspired track, “Cultural National Anthem.” Looks like Quavo held up his promise after being petitioned to give the song a spin sometime last year.
